Takeoff Plans

A takeoff plan is a special type of flight plan that the aircraft will utilize as an initial takeoff point. The plan will be auto-generated by the tablet based on the specifics of the aircraft and the settings in the Takeoff tab. The steps to create a takeoff plan are:

1. Select the Blue Plus icon to bring up the flight planning menu.
2. Select Flight Plans -> New Takeoff from the menu.
3. Use the single-click gesture to tap a location for the takeoff point.
4. Entered the desired height of the takeoff point in the dialog and hit Confirm
5. Tap the waypoint in the takeoff plan and select Send Plan to upload the plan to the aircraft.
6. Takeoff plans can be manipulated like regular flight plans.
7. Double tapping a takeoff orbit will place reverse the direction.
